Step by Step

Scoop out the flesh of the avocado into a bowl.

Squeeze in the lemon juice, then mash with a fork to your desired texture. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and chili flakes (optional).

Toast the bread, if desired, add a few drops of olive oil, then pile the avocado on top together with nutritional yeast and pine nuts.
