Grilled Sourdough Cheese Sandwich with Broccoli

Step by Step

Boil water in a pot. Add broccoli and steam for 3-5 min. Drain and let cool for 2 min.

Preheat a nonstick fry pan over medium-low heat.

Place cheddar cheese and steamed broccoli florets between 2 slices of bread.

Once the frying pan is hot, drizzle with half of the olive oil, slightly tilt the pan back and forth to evenly spread the oil.

Pace the sandwich in the pan, cover with a lid and cook for 2 min until the bottom is golden. Then lift the sandwich with a spatula and add the remaining oil. Flip the sandwich and cook the opposite side until golden. Serve with cucumber
